Made in Corea, together with a string quartet, will focus on Chick Corea’s chamber music-oriented works, music inspired by classical as well as contemporary composers, while still distinctly “Corean”.

We will perform several compositions from different periods and contexts, among them the Bartok inspired “Children’s Songs” (1983),   “Lyric Suite for Sextet” (1983, originally with Gary Burton and string quartet), the epic composition “No Mystery” (from “No Mystery”, 1975 with Return to Forever) and the mystic”Duende” (from “Touchstone”, 1983).
